My Approach to Helping
There is often not enough time in the day to accomplish our goals and care for ourselves. Responsibilities and commitments can be overwhelming. Raising children, pursuing career advancement, helping aging parents, retirement, and coping with losses can leave us emotionally depleted. Such stressors and setbacks can feel even more difficult to manage with the state of affairs in the world. These are challenging times and working with a skilled psychologist can help you navigate life with success.
I am a clinical psychologist and owner of Tampa Palms Psychology, LLC. My practice is focused on helping you cope with the demands of the modern world through compassion, careful listening, and various psychotherapeutic methods.
I provide individual psychotherapy for a broad range of adult mental health problems including depression, anxiety, work stress, and relationship concerns. In addition, I have interests stress and coping in healthcare providers, trauma and post-traumatic stress (PTSD), geriatric mental health, caregiver support, individuals coping with chronic medical illnesses and insomnia. My approach to psychotherapy is personalized, integrative and evidence-based, and focuses on tailoring the treatment to your particular circumstances. Couples therapy is provided on a limited basis.
Most of my clients pay for treatment 'out-of-pocket' but I do provide documentation if you wish to pursue out of network reimbursement with your insurance. The only insurance I am currently accepting is Medicare.
