My Approach to Helping
Do you keep revealing to yourself and your loved ones that you are not the person you want to be? Have you kept yourself so hidden from others that now you have difficulty knowing who you are or what you want? Most likely, you have adapted over the years to challenges, maybe traumas, which have helped you survive. Except, those adaptations aren't serving you anymore, and they are actually making things worse. Perhaps you're afraid it's too late, that too much damage has been done. You believe the REAL YOU is hidden somewhere, you just need support finding yourself and living into your highest potential.
I specialize in trauma recovery and offer Brainspotting as a method for rapid somatic recovery. I take a narrative approach, which means we work to bring awareness to the untold narratives of your life which drive your beliefs, desires, feelings, and fears. I prefer to take a collaborative approach to discover the unique ways you can heal yourself.
Seeking therapy is a courageous act, and you should feel confident that the therapist you find is a good fit for you. It is important to remember research shows that the therapeutic relationship is the biggest indicator of successful treatment. Reach out to see if you and I could be a good fit working together, and I look forward to hearing from you.
