My Approach to Helping
When you're caught in the grip of anxiety, it can feel as though no one else truly understands the intensity of what you're facing. The racing thoughts, physical tension, overwhelming fear, and constant sense of unease can intrude on moments of joy, rest, and connection. I want you to know that I see you, and I recognize the courage it takes to confront these feelings. As a therapist, I strive to create a supportive space, where you can explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion. My goal is to help you move through anxiety, embrace your full self, and live in alignment with your values.
Depending on your unique needs, we may use parts work, somatic and mindfulness approaches, or the brain-based therapy, EMDR, to address anxiety. Together, we can explore the roots of your anxiety, identify the patterns that may be contributing to it, and work toward developing coping strategies that resonate with you.
