My Approach to Helping
I am Carrie Shalosky, a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), and I have been working in the counseling field since 2000. I have experience conducting individual, couples, and family therapy with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting challenges, career challenges, family conflict, and complex trauma. My theoretical orientation is a holistic and diversified approach based on current research, best practices, and evidence-based treatment. I value integrating the total well-being of the individual in order to access the greatest potential for change and a sense of purpose.
Maybe you have tried convincing yourself that you don’t really “need” help, but you are tired of feeling drained, unhappy, or frustrated. Perhaps you need emotional relief from trauma or strained relationships… or are simply hoping to regain some balance in your life. If this hits close to home, you do NOT have to keep going through life feeling this way. Together, let’s restore your peace and reclaim your joy. I understand that individuals and their situations are unique, and my counseling methodology is responsive to the personal needs and learning styles of the client.
