My Approach to Helping
One thing I've learned in 27 years as a therapist is that people are very different from each other. I strive to listen intently. My training as a depth psychotherapist enables me to pick up on patterns, subtleties, cues from the the unconscious mind of my client, and emotional information that can propel breakthroughs. I'm also adept at Jungian dreamwork, a process of collaborating with a client to uncover meaning from nighttime dreams. This can enable you to map your unconscious complexes and change the infrastructure of your psychology. This process takes time and commitment. It can produce big change in your self-concept and outlook.
Research has shown that depth psychotherapy is effective compared to other methods, but also promotes development of personal strength, resilience, capacity for relationship, and the ability to utilize talents (please see: dreamtherapyminneapolis.comdepth-psychology).
. Additionally, this approach minimizes cultural biases and prejudice against individual uniqueness, because the change process is propelled by your own unconsious mind.
