My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that each client brings their own set of experiences, perspectives, and challenges to the therapeutic process. I believe that our childhood experiences shape our beliefs, behaviors, and relationships in profound ways. By creating a welcoming and non-judgmental space, I hope to empower my clients to explore and process their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I believe that each person possesses an innate capacity for healing and self-awareness.
I work closely with young adults, adults, and teens. I pull from various approaches, including emotional-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and interpersonal family systems, and incorporate attachment approaches. I can help you understand how early life experiences may be impacting relationships and help you understand and recognize your own emotional struggles.
I am dedicated to creating a nurturing therapeutic environment that encourages clients to explore their feelings, identify negative cycles, process life transitions and stressors, and help develop a better sense of security and contentment with their life experiences. My goal is to explore the patterns that may be keeping you from living the life you want.
