My Approach to Helping
Cedric is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (Maryland, DC, Virginia, Texas, Minnesota, and Connecticut), and a Maryland Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. His clinical work experience spans 15 years and has included providing mental health services to a variety of clients including young children, preteens, adolescents, college students, adults, families, couplesmarriages, and at-risk males. He believes in empowering clients to accomplish their health and wellness goals through use of evidence-based practices, outreach, and positive role modeling. His style incorporates a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Anger Management, and Conflict Resolution to best meet the needs of his clients. In addition to his work with clients, Cedric also provides clinical supervision to individuals and groups.
