My Approach to Helping
My ideal client is someone who is stressed, burned out, or just dealing with everyday life challenges. They may feel stuck or unsure of what their next move should be.
My clients need someone to listen to them—to be heard in a “safe space” where they can freely express themselves. They understand that everyone struggles and that it’s okay to ask for help. Their goals are to learn better ways to cope and deal with their issues. They want to live their best lives without fear and anxiety but with courage and resilience. Working together, my hope is to get this client closer to their ideal self: a self without despair and filled with hope.
My approach to therapy is person-centered. Meaning, I provide a safe and nurturing environment, where I listen for the meaning behind the words spoken by the client. I provide insight, promote reflection, and foster growth. I believe it's best to customize each client’s treatment by using various modalities based on their current issues, needs, and history.
Let’s talk about the things you can’t or won’t say to anyone who knows you, for fear of being judged or being called a “bad person” when you express how you feel. Let’s talk about the difficulties you are experiencing at work, school, from a relationship or just stress. No judgment—just a safe haven for you because you always put yourself last and everyone else first.
