My Approach to Helping
Are you dealing with relationship issues, depression, anxiety, or trauma? Do you like the idea of working with someone who feels like a friend but has objectivity? Are you interested in a holistic psychologist who can help you find the connection between the foods you eat and the thoughts you feed yourself? Do you want to see the connection between your mental and physical health as well as overall happiness? I can help you find the answer to these problems and more. I am also aligned with other health professionals, and together we can help your mind and body without using drugs. Most of my clients say that I feel like an old friend or family member. That type of connection is important to me because who wants to talk about private things with someone who doesn’t get them? I love everyone who sits down in front of me, and it is my deepest desire to help you feel better. My theoretical orientation is cognitively-based, which means that I believe our thoughts create our feelings. If we work together, you can expect that we will talk about your history, and you will be assigned homework that will help you look deeper into things while we’re apart. We may even do guided meditations aimed at reprogramming those automatic unwanted reactions to events in your life. It is my intention that by working with me, your life will feel better. Thank you for trusting me.
