My Approach to Helping
Hi! I'm Chris, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working virtually in the state of California. I focus primarily in working with adult individuals who feel stuck or are transitioning in life and are struggling to work through the hurdles those present. This comes in a variety of different presentations: stress, anxiety, depression, relational challenges, poor workschool performance, and an overall feeling of MEH.
My background is in the treatment of trauma and the approaches that align with that -- Internal Family Systems, EMDR, CBTDBT, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, and Somatic Experiencing. I am not a one-size fits all kinda therapist. Healing comes in stages, and my goal is to help you move that stage with whatever your system responds to the most at that time. This is the art of psychotherapy, and one I am very passionate about.
