My Approach to Helping
Christina is a licensed professional counselor. She received her Master of Education in Professional Counseling from the University of West Georgia with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Christina has experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, play therapy, grief therapy, and trauma-focused CBT. She believes in building a trusting relationship that leads to the empowerment and growth of the client. As a mother of three and a lover of nature, she gets that life is not always what we want or expect it to be. There are times when one's path is unclear and finding one's way becomes quite difficult. If you keep on doing what you've always done, you will keep on getting what you have always gotten. If you are not living your best life, it is time to make a commitment to yourself and dedicate the time and energy to increase the quality of your life. Christina understands how life can sometimes overwhelm us.
