My Approach to Helping
Are you struggling to manage anxiety, mood, substance use disorder, grief, major life changes, or trauma? Asking for help can be scary, but you've taken the first step toward feeling better simply by looking for help. I am passionate about working with people who have lived through trauma and might struggle with self-worth or anxiety and depression as a result. If you want to find peace, let's work together to build a plan of action. Your mental health matters, and so do you.
My goal is to create an environment free of judgment, where all are encouraged to be themselves. A place where people can learn to share their failures and triumphs with equal excitement. I hope all feels comfortable focusing on themselves and developing skills that will allow them to feel empowered to be authentic to who they are.
Therapy is hard work, but it doesn't have to feel that way every session. Reaching out for help can be terrifying, even paralyzing, at times. I hope to help you feel comfortable while working as a team to achieve your goals. If you want to learn, grow, and occasionally laugh, we could make a good team.
I look forward to hearing from you.
