My Approach to Helping

These issues left unresolved can lead to bigger problems later on including health issues, relationship conflicts and just interfere with your overall well-beingness.
For over 20 years I've been passionately providing solution-based therapy for people of all ages. People describe me as warm, safe, and nurturing which is the kind of environment I try to create. I use a client-centered and holistic approach and together we will determine what goals of your treatment will be. We will work together as a team in figuring out how you can best resolve those issues and find new skills for managing your life.

I am in the process of creating an online virtual retreat for empty nesters. This is a coaching program that will facilitate parents who are transitioning into their next phase of life and supporting them to create a meaningful empty nest. I am also certified in a technique called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). EMDR clears both big and small traumas in a relatively easy and fast way with long lasting results. Just being human we've all been traumatized with at least small traumas. You can tell what those are easily by noticing if you have an over reaction to a trigger. Those are the things that EMDR can clear and it's very good for helping with phobias, anxiety and even relationship issues.
I am certified as a life coach as well. And, life coaching is great for those who are not clear about what's next or are feeling stuck, unmotivated and not sure what to do. For more information about how I can help you, please check out my website.

What I Usually Need to Know to Help
In order for us to work together and begin effective therapy or life coaching, I need to know a few things about you! Most of all, I'll need to know what you are coming into therapy for and what you hoping to get out of our time together. I also need to know some history about your life and learn about when the issues you are struggling with. A basic overview of when the issue began to develop and how it has played out in your life is a great start to get us connected and on the path to healing.
