My Approach to Helping
A session with me involves a lot of humor, compassion, and honesty. I believe strongly that creating a safe environment for individuals and couples to feel comfortable being vulnerable and facing themselves honestly is the key to successful change.
I believe strongly in helping each person find their laughter and spirit, using evidence-based, compassionate care. My work focuses on teenagers, adults, and couples where I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), attachment-based, somatic, narrative, and experiential therapies in a way that is tailored to meet the needs of each client and situation.

I work to create a safe environment for individuals and couples to feel comfortable being vulnerable and facing themselves honestly is the key to successful change. We are all human and I strive to utilize the imperfections inherent in human nature to build relationships and model growth with my clients.
There is great power in relationships and secure attachments, so I work hard to create a mutually secure and trusting bond with all my clients to support their growth. Together we will develop a plan to help you get where you want to be, working together to identify strengths and growth areas.
