My Approach to Helping
I see myself as a spiritually open-minded person, and I welcome people of all beliefs, backgrounds, genders, and orientations without judgment. I keep an open mind because I know therapy works best when you feel understood and connected. Therapy can feel uncomfortable at times, and it’s important to feel safe with someone who gets you. I like to keep things light and use humor, affirming clients as they go. I also share helpful information, so you’ll better understand what you’re experiencing and can make choices that feel right for you.
I focus on your strengths, encouraging you to take small steps outside your comfort zone to reach your goals. Together, we’ll work on understanding things like anxiety, depression, or trauma by identifying what triggers them, noticing how they affect your body, and exploring where they come from. I’ll provide practical tools, like ways to reframe negative thoughts, set healthy boundaries, and communicate assertively to help manage symptoms. I’m here to support you in learning more about yourself so you can live in a way that aligns with what you truly value and feel more confident along the way.
