My Approach to Helping

Life’s hardships can make us feel isolated, discouraged and hopeless, but know that there is healing and growth beyond your current pain. Whether you are struggling to overcome past traumas, anxiety, depression, or just feeling as though the life you're living is not where you want to be, my work is to help you break through what's holding you back.
I whole-heartedly believe that within each and every one of us, there is strength, resiliency, and purpose. As a therapist, my role is to guide you towards living a life that is authentic, purposeful, and aligned with your values, even amidst your greatest hardships. Together, we will help you overcome negative beliefs, habits, and stories that are no longer serving you and holding you back.
My approach to therapy is grounded in evidence-based practice, using techniques and interventions that are proven methods in improving overall mental and emotional health. I practice through the lens of a holistic mind+body approach, where we work on making you feel safe and regulated in your body before diving into the cognitive work. As your therapist, I focus on you as an integrated whole, rather than just the symptoms you’re experiencing. In therapy, you are equipped with the necessary tools to optimize your full potential, while also embracing what it means to be human.
