My Approach to Helping
The focus of my work is to help people live life based on their values. I use a gentle, honest approach to help my clients identify their struggles and take steps to move toward the life they want. I help my clients improve their emotion regulation and communication skills while empowering them to move in a valued direction. It is my philosophy that although we may not have caused our struggles, we are responsible to learn and grow from them. I specialize in mindfulness-based acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). The current focus of my practice is those in transitions in life (including athletes transitioning to life after athletics), people with personality struggles, and those who struggle with anxiety. I am currently only accepting telehealth appointments.
