My Approach to Helping
I believe that self-exploration with a compassionate, non-judgmental presence is a powerful experience which results in deep, lasting change. Often times, our experience of the world and ourselves can feel vaguely yet urgently unsatisfying. Sometimes we unconsciously live in a reality which no longer feels like it \"fits\", but we know therapy is about being empowered to see yourself and the world in new, exciting ways. Working with me involves the venturesome opportunity to explore your inner world with all of the challenge and freedom which accompany this journey. Our work together is about changing life in a way that honors you as a unique individual. I specialize in teaching, researching, & practicing existential psychotherapy, one of the very few in the area.
