My Approach to Helping
My therapy style is supportive, informative, and encouraging. Learning how to move through problems instead of resisting them reduces uncomfortable feelings. How we respond to life determines our level of fulfillment. I help clients recover from trauma, improve life functioning, and strengthen relationships in order to reach their potential. Depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-esteem, eating disorders, and interpersonal turmoil can get in the way. I use many modalities to help individuals, couples, and families connect with their values and cope with life’s challenges.
