My Approach to Helping
We all experience ups and downs in life, and what many people do not realize is that it's a sign of strength, not weakness, to ask for help during difficult times. So, why struggle on your own when there is help available? As a therapist, I view counseling as a collaborative process where your input and insight are just as valuable as mine. I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment in which we can explore any negative beliefs, behaviors, and patterns that may be holding you back and build on your inner strengths to achieve the change and growth desired.
With more than eighteen years of experience, I have assisted children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with various concerns related to depression and anxiety, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, behavioral problems and parenting skills, separation/divorce and other life transitions, and trauma such as sexual abuse and domestic violence. I also have a personal interest in supporting those who are dealing with fertility issues and the adoption process.
Together, we can identify what is keeping you from reaching your goals and develop a realistic plan to enable you to move forward and live the life you want. So, take that first step in making a positive change and call for an appointment.
