My Approach to Helping
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Substance Use Counselor. I have a BS in Counseling and Human Services and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked in the inpatient adult psychiatric unit before transitioning into community-based mental health services and then into outpatient therapy. I have experience working with both adolescents and adults with autism, ADHD, OCD, depression, anxiety disorders, substance use, as well as trauma-based diagnoses. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and have my certification in substance use counseling.
