My Approach to Helping

My approach is professional, sincere, kind, respectful, non-judgmental, honest, direct, balanced, fair, solution focused and results driven. With 24 years of successful experience as a therapist, coupled with 8 years in law enforcement, 22 years as a father and 24 years as a husband, I am confidant that there are no limits to what we can accomplish together. I tailor my approach to the needs of each individual. Some clients require a more directive psycho-educational approach to therapy and for others therapy may be more of a process of self exploration, discovery and learning in which the client is supported, guided and empowered to successfully lead their own life. Our clients are enlightened & educated in the most effective processes of healing, growing, improving and developing of solutions that improve their quality of life and relationships. I believe in a simple honest and straight forward approach that draws from a variety of theories & models which I have found to be the most effective in yielding results, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Holistic Approach Therapy, identifying & changing underlying subconscious factors that contribute to the problems and unhelpful patterns.

My goal is to help you create lasting positive change in your life and relationships. Together, we’ll develop the tools, skills, and insights that you need to have a healthier, more successful, rewarding and balanced life. I work with Individuals, couples, families, and teens experiencing a wide variety of problems. Marital problems, Relationship issues, trauma, ptsd, Infidelity, Divorce, Depression, Anxiety, Poor Communication, fighting over finances, Parenting, Sex, Intimacy, Substance abuse & Addiction, Porn, sexually addictive behaviors, blended families, effects of Divorce, Parenting, Anger management, Life Coaching, College Students, Adolescents, School related problems, bullying, ADHD, self-injury, health improvement, body image, self esteem, domestic violence, Grief and loss.

As a former athlete, baseball and softball coach and lover of all things sports and fitness, I understand first hand the extreme pressures and challenges Professional athletes and sports figures experience on a daily basis. I provide Sports Psychology and Performance improvement related services to athletes at all levels.

As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist I am trained to view and treat a variety of problems that stem not only from the inner-psyche, but also the interactions and dynamics of our significant relationships, past & present. For more information please text or email us.
