My Approach to Helping
It can be hard to make necessary changes in our lives. I provide a kind and caring atmosphere where people can feel free to open up about their life. I help people find the strength to set positive personal goals and make positive changes toward self-growth through my utilization of patience, teaching of realistic goal setting and modeling of communication skills. I provide honest, supportive and useful feedback in order to help people become more aware of their current needs and ways to make adaptive changes. To do this, I take an original approach to treatment, allowing me to customize the counselling to the individual's needs, which helps assess their difficulties, set accomplishable goals, and measure progress.
