My Approach to Helping
I am a queer affirming therapist and trauma-informed therapist. I use Acceptance Commitment Therapy in order to help you align with your personal values and get out of rigid and stuck patterns. This approach involves building acceptance of uncomfortable experiences, developing mindfulness skills, and identifying personal values and how you can align your life with them. I also believe that healing happens in relationships and connecting with community. I aim to help you develop skills and goals that help connect with the other important people in your life.
