My Approach to Helping
I try to meet people where they are. Therapy can look very different person to person. We reevaluate your needs each session to see if we should modify our goals or process in order to better suite your mental health and overall needs. I try to be proactive and productive but also allow time for things to move at a natural pace.
I have 7 years of experience working in a variety of settings and serving a diverse population of clients. I have additional training in trauma, anxiety, PTSD, depression, and bipolar disorder issues. I also have a lot of experience with substance use including working at a detox unit and working regularly with clients to achieve their sobriety goals in an outpatient setting.
I have spent much of my time practicing individual and couples therapy treating a wide range of issues and that is mostly what I do today.
