My Approach to Helping
I work from a Strengths-Based, Existential and Solution-Focused perspective. In plain English: we talk one human to another about what it's like to live in this ever-changing world. In those conversations, I help you rediscover your strengths, which are the tools you use to reach your goals.
More Info About My Practice
Going it alone just isn't working. You want something you can’t seem to get on your own, and you’re ready to enlist some support. Maybe it’s time to try therapy.
We could all use a little understanding. Who are you really, and what are you all about? Why do you feel the way you do? How you might be getting in your own way, and what be done about it?
Some acceptance would be nice as well. Sure, there’s acceptance from others, but what about acceptance of life as it is? Acceptance of your role in your own story? Acceptance that you can’t make other people change? Acceptance of yourself?
Maybe even some skills. You’ve developed competence in your life. Why not skills to notice when something’s off inside, to ground yourself or to navigate challenging situations?
You came here for change—for results—and therapy is a place of possibility and growth. The only way to find out if therapy is for you is to try it.
