My Approach to Helping
Caring, understanding, nonjudgmental and ready to help you!
First, we start where you are: with what brings you to seek out therapy and what you would like to work on or improve in your life. Sometimes you don’t know where to start and that’s ok too. I want to partner with you on your journey of self-discovery and better understanding. I have over 15 years of experience in helping clients to develop tools, skills and interventions to make their lives less confusing and increase their confidence in being able to handle whatever comes their way.
Do you need someone who is willing to listen and not judge? Feeling lost or confused? Unsure if therapy is even for you? Think that no one will ever “get” you? Please reach out to me. I'm here to help. I am a Clinical Social Worker who is licensed in New York State and I work with the adult population and specialize in helping individuals with anxiety, depression, OCD, and many other issues. I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community and I have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ Individuals and their concerns. I am a graduate of Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service (2009) and I primarily use cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and relational therapy in my work with patients.
