My Approach to Helping
My passion is helping those who are feeling disconnected from themselves and others. I work with clients dealing with low self-worth or self-esteem, depression, anxiety, compulsive & addictive behaviors, trauma, social isolation & disconnection, spiritual & existential issues, couples & relational issues, and much more.
I love helping people connect the dots of their personal stories to why they think, feel, and behave the way they do, then move with them toward restoration, healing, and a more congruent and fulfilling life. I use an integrative approach to address the health and wellness of the whole person. I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR).
It would be my honor to come alongside you to help you unpack and reclaim even the most difficult parts of your story. Please reach out to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if I'm the right fit to help.
More Info About My Practice
"Integro" is Latin for: "restore, repair or recreate."
Life is full of twists and turns and no one is immune to the pain & suffering it can serve up. It's not if, but when, will we all experience "life turbulence." The key to living a fulfilling and meaningful life is learning how to navigate these times with dignity, growing into more connected, authentic, and resilient people.
Although no one wants to experience pain and suffering, I believe that any situation can be restored with the right help. I help clients grow through their most difficult times and make use of even their worst experiences.
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
I'm confident about the usefulness of painful experiences (as long as you get the right help!), because I have experienced significant pain personally and have used therapy, community and connection with God to help me heal.
I'll add that the path to healing and restoration is a lifelong journey. Even if your situation is dire or if you have tried therapy in the past with poor or mixed results, in the words of Winston Churchill, "Never give in- never, never, never, never." Find the right counselor for you and keep moving forward. You won't regret it.
