My Approach to Helping
The character of the therapist is an important factor in helping clients to change. I love my work and have a genuine respect for the people with whom I counsel. I form a team effort with clients as we work, because I consider both of us to be experts in dealing with their problems. Even though people may not feel like an expert, I am experienced at helping them recognize the expertise they have, then helping them to grow and develop more skills. Regardless of whether the issue is small or large, recent or long term, I give it my full care and attention.
More Info About My Practice
As interest grows in the legal use of psilocybin mushrooms in Oregon and the use of ketamine in Sacramento to alleviate emotional problems, I participated in a nearly one-year-long course to receive a Certification in Psychedelic-assisted Psychotherapy.
