My Approach to Helping

Whether it's processing emotions, providing education and support, helping to understand the impact of trauma, learning new and practical skills, or whether it's providing practical and pragmatic advice - all of these are important in treating my clients as a whole.
I truly believe that I can be of help to anyone who is willing to move towards self-understanding and overall wellness and challenge themself to step outside of their comfort zone.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

In addition to my specialized clinical training I bring to sessions my full, authentic self. It's important to say, as a therapist living with Bipolar Disorder and having lived experience with the past impacts of a mental health condition, I understand both from a personal and a clinical perspective the hold that mental health can have one's quality of life.
