My Approach to Helping
Greetings, I'm Andy Prince, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), Army veteran, and dedicated therapist committed to guiding individuals and families through life's challenges and traumas. Drawing from my personal experiences and professional expertise, I specialize in providing support for those grappling with posttraumatic stress (PTSD), navigating grief and bereavement, and strengthening family dynamics. Trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I offer specialized interventions tailored to each client's unique needs. Whether you're seeking to overcome past traumas or develop coping strategies for present stressors, I'm here to walk alongside you on your journey to healing and growth. My background in the military, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, has instilled in me a deep understanding of the profound impact of trauma. This firsthand knowledge fuels my dedication to assisting others in reclaiming their lives and finding resilience beyond adversity. In addition to supporting adults, I specialize in guiding adolescents through the challenges of youth, offering compassionate guidance as they navigate academic stress, family dynamics, peer pressure, and self-discovery. Together, we work to cultivate resilience and foster a strong sense of self amidst life's transitions. With a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Arizona State University and licensure as a clinical social worker (LCSW) in Arizona, I blend evidence-based techniques with empathy and understanding to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing and exploration. I believe in the power of collaboration, and I'm committed to helping you build a future filled with meaning and purpose.
