My Approach to Helping
As a therapist, I’m passionate about supporting creatives, individuals healing from spiritual abuse, and those navigating life transitions. I have a background working with teens, young adults, and adults in individual, inpatient, and outpatient settings, helping them overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, addiction, spiritual trauma, and low self-esteem.
My therapeutic approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and LGBTQ+ affirming, offering a safe, inclusive space for healing and growth. I am direct and empowering, meeting clients where they are and helping them create meaningful, lasting change.
I invite you to reach out if you're looking for a supportive space to explore your thoughts and feelings.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
Being a therapist combines so many of the things I'm passionate about listening, helping others find clarity, and honoring the stories that shape who we are. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as an editor and journalist, diving into complex topics and amplifying voices that needed to be heard. That experience taught me the power of storytelling and how meaningful it can be to feel truly seen and understood.
Now, as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), I have the privilege of holding space for people as they explore their challenges, dreams, and personal growth. I love working with teens, young adults, and creative individuals, helping them sit in the mess and discover new ways to move forward. Whether it is managing stress, overcoming addiction, or healing from spiritual abuse, I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they reclaim their strength and sense of purpose.
I also bring creativity and connection into my work, often drawing from my love of writing, nature, and the arts. And with my rescue dog, June, training to be a therapy dog, I?m reminded every day that healing can happen in all kinds of ways.
Therapy, to me, is about helping people rewrite the narratives that no longer serve them and create new ones that feel authentic and empowering. It's an incredible honor to be part of that process.
