My Approach to Helping

Are you seeking a deeper connection with yourself and a path toward healing?

I'm Deborah Hudson, MA, MT-BC, a board-certified music therapist at Creekside Therapeutics. I'm here to help you discover your authentic self and find harmony within.

With five years of clinical experience, I've worked with diverse individuals and groups, providing intensive in-home therapy, mental health skill-building, and school-based counseling services.

My passion lies in guiding you to embrace self-love and compassion through the power of music. In our sessions, we'll explore a range of therapeutic approaches, including:

Music Therapy Interventions: Harnessing the healing power of music to express emotions, reduce stress, and promote self-discovery.

Mindfulness Techniques: Cultivating present-moment awareness to find peace and clarity.

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) Based Strategies: Developing skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Based Parts-Work Interventions: Understanding and integrating different aspects of your inner self.

Social Justice Advocacy: Empowering you to embrace your identity and advocate for your needs.

Narrative Therapy Techniques: Reshaping your life story to promote healing and growth.

I have a particular interest in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and those experiencing posttraumatic stress, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum, and attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD).

I received my master's of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Music Therapy from Lesley University, and I'm trained in trauma-informed care and person-centered treatment.

If you're ready to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and healing, I'm here to support you with compassion and expertise.
