My Approach to Helping
Like the lotus flower, beauty coming out of the depth of mud; every individual can blossom out of a life of trauma, abuse, or just day-to-day frustrating moments that find themselves crippled or stuck in any way. Through the transforming and renewing of our minds, we do not have to repeat history or become who someone tried to make us. With the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, one can get to the root issues that are crippling or holding them back. With the use of a trauma timeline, one can acknowledge the hurts and trauma that they have been through. Becoming aware of our hurts and triggers is important to process. Being able to acknowledge the hurts that have contributed to our pain, and putting truth to what we have walked through, is important. Learning how to gain control and confidence over our hurts is crucial. Through the process of addressing past hurts and trauma, it is my goal and desire to empathize with individuals to reach their full potential in life. It is my desire to come alongside and guide you to wholeness. I have many years of experience rising out of the mud of my own lifelong trauma, which enables me to equip you with hope and grace. I welcome you into a safe haven to process through your hurts and struggles, to help you strive, thrive, and become an overcomer. I am also here to assist with general support of any sort. “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” - Romans 12:2
