My Approach to Helping

I use an interpersonal, psychoanalytic approach. Each person has a unique story. We will work together to better understand the roadblocks along the way that impede energy. We will explore safely to unlock your full potential.

More Info About My Practice

Are you feeling overwhelmed with life? Sometimes we just need a listening ear to talk to. Attachment histories may have impacted us in ways that make it difficult to trust. We will work together from a psychoanalytic lens to understand and overcome obstacles. My interests are in helping uncover what is beneath the discomfort, guilt, and shame.

As a psychoanalytic psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience, I believe in the power of psychoanalysis and its curative effects.

Let's work together to uncover what is beneath the pain and feelings of depression and anxiety to discover your deepest connections and wounds that have felt limiting. We will delve into your psyche to unlock present and past hurts that keep us feeling stuck and to break the cycle of continuous problematic dysfunctions.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Psychotherapy can help heal the wounds that bind us on a daily basis. These wounds can surface and create a lot of discomfort and stress oftentimes from what is unknown or kept from conscious awareness. Psychotherapy can help heal the wounds from our past in a gentle way that brings what is unknown to the surface, with time.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is meant to help when we need help. If feeling depressed, anxious, worried, and in pain we seek comfort from these very uncomfortable symptoms. This is a safe place to feel understood and listened to.
