My Approach to Helping
I have a collaborative approach to working with clients - utilizing and building upon clients' strengths to achieve therapeutic goals. In my practice, I see adults of all age ranges, families, couples, and adolescents. I am interested in helping clients navigate life-cycle changes such as marriage, becoming parents, retirement, divorce, etc. I am also able to work with clients with trauma history, depression, anxiety and interpersonal difficulties.
More Info About My Practice
I have worked in inpatient and outpatient settings, serving clients from diverse backgrounds. I am a clinical fellow with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and served on the NYAAMFT board of Directors as the Albany Hudson Valley Chapter President for two terms.
I offer couple's workshops using the Gottman Institute's evidenced-based and research-tested programs: Bringing Baby Home and the Seven Principles of Making a Marriage Work for Couples. In addition, I offer groups and community events. See my website at FoundBridge.org for more information.
