My Approach to Helping
When life's challenges become overwhelming, it can feel isolating and exhausting. You may find yourself struggling to cope with stress, emotions, or relationships. In these moments, it's important to know that you don't have to navigate these difficulties alone.
As a therapist, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore and reclaim your inner strengths and resources. Together, we will identify the changes needed in your life to help you become the best version of yourself, honoring your unique individuality. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, focused on helping you achieve tangible results that enhance your mental and emotional well-being.
It is truly an honor and privilege to sit beside you as you embark on your journey of change and growth. I am dedicated to supporting you every step of the way, offering guidance and insight as you work towards a healthier, more fulfilling life. I look forward to hearing from you and beginning this transformative process together.
More Info About My Practice
I use a diverse range of interventions in my practice to help you reach your therapeutic goals. Among the most effective tools I utilize are mindfulness and meditation, which have proven immensely beneficial in changing thought patterns, moods, and emotions. Through mindfulness and meditation, we learn to live in the present moment, allowing us to touch and transform our lives deeply.
In addition to mindfulness and meditation, I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This evidence-based approach helps you identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors, leading to improved mental and emotional well-being. CBT is particularly effective in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress.
I also offer mindfulness training to organizations, helping teams to improve focus, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. Furthermore, I host a community meditation session on the last Sunday of each month. These sessions include participant sharing, discussions on monthly meditation topics, and a group meditation. Please note that while these meditations are enriching, they are not a substitute for therapy.
In 2019, my first book, "Zenergy Mindfulness," was released. This unique self-help book blends the protocols of mindfulness and Buddhist Psychology to help readers deepen their mindfulness practice.
It is an honor and privilege to support individuals on their journey towards change and growth. I look forward to working with you and helping you become the best version of yourself.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
You want your therapy to be effective. I want your therapy to be effective. One of the most important indicators for effectiveness is your relationship with your therapist. You might consider if issues such as age, gender, or religious orientation are important to you when you choose a therapist. The style of the therapist is also important. Are they direct, give lots of advice or mostly listen and give feedback? What do you think you need? At Authentic-Life Counseling we offer free 15 minute consultations so you can get a sense of who we are. You can ask us any question about the process and we will help you determine if we are a good fit.
