My Approach to Helping
Therapy offers the possibility of growth, greater self-awareness, and acceptance. I will not pretend to be an expert on your inner life. However, together we will work to deepen your self-understanding. This can support you in breaking free from repetitive patterns and self-limiting beliefs. Central to my therapeutic philosophy is the belief that healing is a process, not a destination.
Another advantage in our work together is enhanced emotional resilience. By addressing suppressed emotions and integrating different aspects of yourself, you may experience greater emotional balance and a stronger sense of identity. This integration can lead to improved relationships, decision-making, and overall well-being including less anxiety and depression.
I endeavor to establish a strong therapeutic alliance with all my clients, which hopefully fosters trust and openness in our relationship. Hopefully, you will experience me as someone who understands you.
My education includes a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Depth Psychology, M.A in Spiritual Psychology, and a 2–Year Certificate in Adult Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from The New Center For Psychoanalysis.
