My Approach to Helping
On Course Psychological Counseling, P.C. is a group practice that is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of psychotherapists, including psychologists, marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, social workers, and psychiatrists. We use an eclectic approach to treatment, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, supportive therapy, and insight-oriented therapy, to address each client's individual needs, tailor their goals for treatment and reduce their symptoms.

Social Anxiety Group
Learn practical ways to cope with social anxiety. Improve communication and learn to battle insecurities and self-doubt in social situations. This support group for anxiety will also focus on teaching coping skills to help reduce fears, phobias, and panic attacks. Evidence based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, will be used to teach coping skills to help manage stress in relationships and challenge insecurities.

Self-Acceptance Group
Accept yourself as you are! Foster a sense of self-acceptance that creates inner dialogues that say " I am enough!" Learn to say no to others and yes to yourself! End people pleasing by setting boundaries in relationships that unapologetically prioritize your own needs. Learn to challenge self-critical thoughts that can evoke feelings of fear and self-doubt, which can hamper self-confidence and motivation to make changes. Improve mindfulness and self-awareness as you learn to self-care mentally and emotionally.

Stress-Related Medical Conditions Support Group
Receive support while learning coping skills to manage stress related to having an auto-immune disease,
since anxiety exacerbates it.
