My Approach to Helping
I graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey with a Bachelor of Arts and major in Psychology. I then moved out to Colorado to attend the University of Denver and got my Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology. Ever since I have been working in the mental health field with dual-diagnosis and primary mental health clients. My areas of expertise are in Depression, Anxiety, Psychosis, Risk Assessment, Personality Disorders, Men’s Issues, Family Struggles, Trauma, and Substance Abuse.
As your therapist, it is my goal to see you become a better version of yourself. It is my belief that the role of therapy is to help you to achieve the life you want. I like to use a two-pronged approach to therapy, starting with immediate solution focused brief interventions including coping skills. Then I like to build on the environment and connection already established and dive into the root causes for these things.
