My Approach to Helping
I work with adult individuals who are facing moments of psychological crisis as they seek a path to a healthier life. Our first session would be to introduce ourselves and identify what you would want to work-on in therapy. Finding one's way through life's questions, challenges, transitions, and developmental stages can be daunting.
I am here to listen, support, and validate you and how you perceive your situation. I will gently guide you and challenge you to problem solve and find an answer to leading a healthier life, and increasing well being. As a Jungian oriented psychotherapist, I believe that humans are predisposed to make their individual mark in the world.
I will accompany you on your journey to achieving effective catharsis of a problem, gain insight into it, and then learn new ways of coping or solving the problem. These problems may be experienced as depression, anxiety, relationship issues or somatic complaints. Healing, growth, and living an authentic life are dependent on understanding and integrating our life experiences.
