My Approach to Helping
I specialize in the treatment of severe Anxiety Disorders, including OCD, Social Anxiety, and Panic Attacks in adults, and adolescents. I integrate a variety of treatment techniques with a primary focus on CBT, ERP, ACT and mindfulness-based approaches. I utilize these intervention techniques from a person-centered stance that focuses on the therapeutic relationship. I'm passionate about providing culturally sensitive care and strive to create a comfortable space for a spectrum of sociocultural identities.
In our initial sessions, we'll take a profound look at your issues, collaborating to develop a personalized plan. Many of my clients experience a noticeable reduction in symptoms within the first month or so, leading to lasting improvements in their overall well-being.
I earned a Doctorate and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Chatham University, Pittsburgh, PA in 2018 and a BS in Psychology from University of Pittsburgh in 2008. I completed a two-year postdoctoral training at Harvard MedicalMcLean hospital’s OCDI residential program in Belmont, MA.
