My Approach to Helping

You have a feeling that the things you are struggling with in your life and in your relationships might have to do with mindsets you acquired from your childhood. Just maybe this way of doing life could be habits that you picked up from your family. And these habits and mindsets show up in your life, making it difficult to show up authentically. They get in the way of school, work, and even your closest relationships. You find yourself fighting with your partner and it scares you when you feel like this is no different from the relationships you saw as a kid, and you feel like you are only repeating the cycle. It makes you anxious, angry even, to think that you are no better than the family you had to deal with growing up. Enough is enough. You want it to end with you.

You want to be free from the constant arguments and have the life and relationship of your dreams. You want to live a life 100% aligned with the values that YOU choose. As Latina therapist, I have both lived experience and years of therapeutic experience addressing the very issues that run deep. It is hard work and I can help you.

Therapy is great, finding a therapist, not so great. It is tough out there, I know! Picking a therapist is harder than picking what to watch on Netflix, for real. People who work with me appreciate my realness and ability to relate to the things that hurt the most. I use emotionally based and body based therapies to help people listen to those inner voices, emotions, and values. I teach people how to choose themselves, so that they can be better humans, for not only themselves, but everyone around them. With my couples I take this further and help them regain that spark and have a relationship where they no longer feel like strangers who can't stop arguing. Head on over to my website where to learn more about how I can help.

More Info About My Practice

My View on the Nature of 'Disorders'

I have the belief that many of the 'disorders' that people struggle with are a result of an unhealthy society. We are living in some pretty tense times and it makes sense why people are experiencing more depression, anxiety, and relationship struggles than ever. I view 'disorders' as adaptions to coping with life. This is a way of looking at things in a non-shaming way. Because we do the best that we can with what we have in the moment. Afterall we are only human. As a fellow human, I can walk along side you as you face fears and heal wounds. Because you shouldn't have to do this alone.

Groups I Work With

You don’t feel present, you don’t feel authentic. Instead you feel spacey, you people-please, and you struggle to feel understood. You struggle to keep it together and you feel like the black sheep of your family and friend group. And it not only angers but hurts you.

You are not sure when it happened but you don't like your life, you don’t like how you have been showing up or rather not showing up. You have a feeling that this is so much more than just what is going on right now.

You’re wondering if the way that you were raised continues to impact the way you show up in your adult relationships. You find yourself fighting with your partner & it scares you when you feel like this is no different from the relationships you saw as a kid, & you feel like you are only repeating the cycle.

Just maybe these habits, mindsets, and ways of doing life, are really unhealed traumas. Possibly generational trauma. And this is getting in the way of living the life you want.

All you want is for life to be easier, to feel calm, confident, and and at peace.

Enough is enough. You want it to end with you.

You want to be free from the constant arguments & have the life & relationship of your dreams. You want to live a life 100% aligned with the values that YOU choose. As a Latina therapist, in a interracial marriage, I have both lived experience & years of therapeutic experience addressing the very issues that run deep. It is hard work and I can help you.
