My Approach to Helping

In our sessions, you can show up exactly as you are and get whatever you need to off your chest. We'll work together so that you no longer struggle with painful emotions, accepting yourself, or feeling that you're not good enough. I'll also help you to strengthen your relationships with others, assert boundaries and achieve your personal goals.
I use an integrative therapy style with elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)- it focuses on providing empathy and compassion while also teaching practical techniques to help you feel more in control of your emotions and reactions. This type of therapy works to keep emotions balanced, reduce emotional pain, decrease reactivity and improve relationships. By choosing to do therapy with me you'll be given a space to process your feelings and be educated on strategies to help you improve your life.
