My Approach to Helping
My name is Ely (Eliahu), like everyone else I have my story, my ups my downs, my successes my failures and my doubts. My life path has taken me to many geographic locations, some changes have been easy some have been hard. I have experienced issues of health as a patient and part of the health team. I have lived with traumas that were inherited, experienced, witnessed, and clinically studied. I have lived through the grief of loss, felt the darkness of hopelessness, and discovered the power of human resilience. I am a person of faith, who believes each person has their own form of spirituality. I believe that each one of us is made up of parts that are at times not integrated well and require outside help to reach a balance.
I am a Rabbi who works at not being judgmental, a teacher who has learned that each person has his own way of learning and that one size does not fit all. I have many rolls in my life: a husband, a father, a grandfather, a Chartered Mediator, Registered Psychotherapist. My skills and experiences are available, I do not have all the answers, what I am good at is helping people find their path.
