My Approach to Helping
Finding your own path in a world that tells us who and how to be is hard. I'm here to unpack who the real you is and what steps we can take to get there. Whether it is figuring out relationships, sexual difficulties, gender identity, or even just figuring out trauma and mental health concerns, I am happy to help! As somebody who holds many identities that fall into the LGBTQIA2S+ umbrella, and as somebody who advocates for equity and justice for people in my communities and other marginalized communities, I am happy to bring an anti-oppression lens to help bring healing to your life! I am a bilingual clinician who speaks Spanish as well as English. I have spent a good amount of time working with individuals in the LatineChicanx community in Nebraska for individual therapy, couples' therapy, and in non-clinical advocacy roles. When not in office, I run a Latine LGBTQIA2S+ support group and provide education and consultation to clinicians and nonprofits regarding gender-affirming healthcare and community resources.
