My Approach to Helping

Working with me is a collaborative experience built on open, genuine conversation. I create a space where both of us are fully present and engaged, fostering a continuous connection throughout our sessions. You can expect a dynamic, two-way dialogue where I’m actively involved in your healing journey, working alongside you as you explore, grow, and find solutions. My goal is to support you every step of the way, creating an environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to take meaningful steps forward.

More Info About My Practice

As a first-generation Asian-American, Emily understands the challenges of expressing mental health concerns, especially in communities where such topics are often limited or absent. She is deeply committed to advocating for mental health and dismantling the stigma that still exists. Emily believes that fear often underlies resistance to these conversations, but that education and awareness are key to overcoming it. In the therapeutic room, she amplifies her clients’ voices and empowers them to speak their truth. Outside of sessions, Emily continues to provide education to friends, family, and others whenever possible. She is passionate about protecting the well-being of others and firmly believes that mental health is just as important as physical health.
