My Approach to Helping

I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and empowered to create positive change in their lives. I’ve had extensive life and career experiences in which I have felt stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain and I want to help you navigate your journey toward healing and growth. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you from living your fullest life, and I’ll support you in developing the tools to face challenges with resilience and confidence. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in real, actionable steps to help you find clarity, self-acceptance, and the strength to move forward. No person experiences events in a vacuum and because of the interconnected nature of life, I feel it is important to approach each client with a biopsychosocial approach.

More Info About My Practice

I am committed to service in my community and began my previous careers as a volunteer EMT beginning in high school. I advocate for trauma-informed care, ensuring that individuals feel seen, heard, and respected in their healing journey. My values are rooted in compassion, and a belief that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care. I’m dedicated to creating a space where clients can feel empowered, supported, and able to achieve lasting change. It is also my belief that no person is immune to needing mental health care and that even a single event can put a mentally healthy individual into a mental health crisis requiring compassionate and competent care.
