My Approach to Helping

Hi, I am Erica, a trauma therapist who focuses on issues of abandonment, anxiety, anger, grief, C-PTSD, and relational, as well as shock trauma, holistic and spiritual health. My approach is intuitive, and you will find me non-judgmental, caring, and interactive with you in your process. I am certified in EMDR, have a degree in somatic (mind-body therapy), and I'm grounded in parts work.

I work with issues of the spiritual, political, and creative process, queerness, gender, sex work, disability justice and chronic health issues, parenting, and blended families, struggles around COVID, recovering from narcissistic abuse, BDSM, dismantling white supremacy, decoloniality, anti-semitism, struggles regarding the ongoing genocide, ancestral and developmental trauma, body image, and those looking for systemic change.

I have been on my journey through the fire and would like to extend a hand to help you make your way through yours.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

When working in the realm of trauma, the most important factor in healing is relational safety between therapist and client. This is my guiding principle, and underlies every therapeutic orientation I engage in. I will always be a human with you first, tending to where you are at in this moment, and moving us forward into the healing together.
