Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
I feel like I am hearing this more and more often as we see big box platforms and AI tools enter into the field. That isn't to say all of them are bad or that they don't have some value. The greatest thing about those platforms is that it brings more therapeutic options to more people and the exposure to mental health resources is great. But maybe what they have to offer is just that, a jumping off point, an exposure to the benefits of therapy?
We are all human and in being human we connect with people on a variety of levels, not every therapist you meet will be the right fit for you and that's ok!
